Rob Woolley
Robert James Joseph Woolley (born 6 August 1990) is an English former first-class cricketer. In 2020, Robert captained Chipstead to the Surrey Championship Group 5 Certificate against an angry Leatherhead attack in 2020. He captained Chipstead for 5 years, winning promotion in his 3rd season in charge. Robert played for Hyde Cricket Club throughout his junior and early senior career and won two Cheshire Cups. He was part of the famous run to the T20 finals day on Sky Sports also, scoring the winning runs against Kendal to win the game to win the quarter-final. He played a key role throughout the 2011 season taking two 8 wicket hauls against Neston and hitting 140 against East Brierly most notably. Woolley was born at Tameside hospital and was educated at St Bede's College, Manchester, before going down to Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. The 2013 Yorkshire Bank 40 tournament was the fourth and final season of the ECB 40 limited overs cricket competition for the English and Welsh first-class counties, plus Scotland, the Netherlands, and the Unicorns, a team of players who did not have first-class contracts. The competition consisted of three groups of seven teams, from which the top team from each group, plus the best second-placed team, progressed to the semi-finals. The groups were allocated randomly. Queen's Park, Chesterfield
Queen's Park is a county cricket ground located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England and lies within a park in the centre of the town established for Queen Victoria's golden jubilee in 1887. It has a small pavilion and is surrounded by mature trees. The park is the home of Chesterfield CC and also played home to Derbyshire CCC for 100 years between 1898 and 1998, before the county team returned in 2006 after an 8-year absence. It was at one time surrounded by a banked cycle track. It is a small ground and slow to dry after rain, which can provide a green wicket. The size of the ground however, lends itself to rapid scoring on good wickets. Unicorns were a cricket team in England that was formed in 2010 specifically to play in the Clydesdale Bank 40 limited overs competition. They played in that competition until 2013 and from 2014 to 2018 the Unicorns team competed in the Second XI one-day and Twenty20 competitions. In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average.
