Robert Paul Preston (born December 1, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. College basketball Preston played college basketball at University of Akron. During the 2003–2004 season he averaged 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per contest. In 2004-2005 he played 16.5 minutes per game, averaging 4.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists, shooting .405 from three point territory. In the 2005–2006 campaign, he played 24.5 minutes a game, averaging 8.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 blocks. He finished his career at Akron playing 108 games, averaging 5.8 points, 1.1 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game. Professional career In August 2006, Preston signed a contract with Bulgarian club BC Levski Sofia. The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. The league included teams from countries as Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Israel. The most recent league champion is Hapoel Galil Elyon from Israel. Steaua București (Basketball) is the basketball section of CSA Steaua București sport club, based in Bucharest, Romania. The club competes in Liga Națională, the top tier of Romanian basketball.
