Rob Kauffman (businessman)
Robert Kauffman (born June 6, 1964) is an American businessman, investment banker, racing team owner and racing driver. Founder of Fortress Investment Group, Kauffman retired from investing in 2012. Motorsports In October 2007, Kauffman purchased part ownership of Michael Waltrip Racing, a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team. Kaufman also owns RK Motors, a car collection in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he resides; he also competes in sports car racing events and has competed in the 2011 and 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 2012 and 2013 24 Hours of Daytona, and in the Rolex Sports Car Series. On July 7, 2014, Kauffman was named the chairman of the Race Team Alliance, a partnership between eighteen Cup teams. In July 2015, ''SportsBusiness Daily'' reported that Kauffman was interested in purchasing a stake in Chip Ganassi Racing. The 24 Hours of Daytona, also known as the Rolex 24 At Daytona for sponsorship reasons, is a 24-hour sports car endurance race held annually at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Brian Lee Vickers (born October 24, 1983) is an American professional stock car and sports car racing driver. He last drove the No. 14 Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing as an interim driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for the injured Tony Stewart. He won the 2003 NASCAR Busch Series championship driving for Hendrick Motorsports. Rui Sérgio de Almeida Águas (born February 29, 1972 in Nampula, Mozambique) is a Mozambican-born Portuguese race car driver. Águas spent two seasons in Formula 3000, driving for Nordic in 1997 and Auto Sport and Coloni in 1998. He has since moved on to Formula Nissan and Renault Eurocup, before making a name for himself on the GT class, being one of the top contenders of the GT2 category, always at the wheel of a Ferrari. Michael Waltrip
Michael Curtis Waltrip (born April 30, 1963) is an American former professional stock car racing driver, racing commentator, and published author. He competes full time in the Camping World Superstar Racing Experience. He is the younger brother of three-time NASCAR champion and racing commentator Darrell Waltrip. Waltrip is a two-time winner of the Daytona 500, having won the race in 2001 and 2003. He is also a pre-race analyst for the NASCAR Cup Series and color commentator for the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series broadcasts for Fox Sports.
