Robert Garland Johnson (born March 18, 1973) is a former professional American football quarterback and current assistant football coach at Mission Viejo High School. Johnson, a native of Orange County, California, played college football at the University of Southern California (USC) and was a fourth-round pick in the 1995 NFL Draft by the expansion team Jacksonville Jaguars. With USC, Johnson won the 1995 Cotton Bowl Classic. In the Jaguars' opening game of 1997, Johnson started for an injured Mark Brunell and had a breakout performance that set a record for the best completion percentage by a debuting starting quarterback. Johnson signed a $25 million contract with the Buffalo Bills the following season and was named starting quarterback by coach Wade Phillips. Robert Simon Johnson (born 22 February 1962 in Bedford, England) is an English former footballer, most noted as a player for Luton Town. Playing career Johnson signed for local club Luton Town as a 17-year-old in August 1979, but due to two serious knee injuries he didn't make his debut until late on in the 1982–83 season. The start of 1983–84 saw him loaned out to Lincoln City, where he made four appearances before returning to Kenilworth Road. Neither this year nor the next saw him play at all however, and he didn't become a first team player until 1985–86, when he made 15 appearances. He was now a first team regular, and he even appeared in the 1988 League Cup Final, helping Luton to a 3–2 victory over Arsenal. Robert M. Johnson is an American politician. He served on the Seattle City Council representing the fourth district, covering northeast Seattle and the area around the University of Washington, from 2016 until his resignation in April 2019. In 2015, Johnson was elected to the city council after defeating Michael Maddux by a 708-vote margin in the nonpartisan general election. Johnson and Maddux had previously defeated 12-year incumbent Jean Godden in the August primary election. Rob Johnson (born February 10, 1973) is an American former professional soccer player who is now an assistant coach with the Temple University's men's soccer team. He attended Jackson Memorial High School in Jackson Township, New Jersey, graduating from the school in 1991. At Jackson, he also competed in track and field athletics, with his best efforts in high school including running the 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds, a long jump of 21 feet 6 inches and a high jump of 6 feet eight inches. Johnson was a two-time state champion in wrestling and was recognized with all-state honors during his senior year in both wrestling and track and field. Robb Jenner Johnson (born 25 December 1955) is a British musician and songwriter who has been called "one of the last genuinely political songwriters". He is known for his mix of political satire and wit. He has his own record label, Irregular Records, and has released more than 40 albums since 1985, either solo or in several collaborations. Biography Johnson began his musical career playing in folk clubs in the 1970s and ran a folk club at the University of Sussex, before forming a band called Grubstreet, which split up in 1983. Two years later he made his first solo album, ''In Amongst the Rain'', setting up his own label on which to release it, before forming an agitprop group, The Ministry of Humour, with Mark Shilcock and Graham Barnes. After the break-up of this act and a failed attempt at forming a new electric band, he returned to performing solo and also formed a duo with female singer Pip Collings.
