Rob Das
Rob Das (born 12 May 1969, in Delft, Netherlands) is a Dutch film and television actor, director and writer. His movie appearances include in '' The Damned'' (2002), ''Baby Blue'' (2001), and '' De Zwarte Meteoor'' (2000). His TV appearances include in the miniseries '' Anne Frank: The Whole Story'' (2001), '' Fort Alpha'' (1996) and '' Vuurzee'' (2006). Besides, Das has also worked as the assistant director in the TV movies '' Gezocht: Man'' (2005) and '' Deining'' (2004), and served as both the writer and director for the short movie '' Veilig Rijen'' (1997). One of the mostly known appearance of Das was as Jan Gies in the ABC miniseries '' Anne Frank: The Whole Story''. The miniseries, which earned much fame, has been called "the best Anne Frank movie or miniseries" and it has been nominated for several Golden Globe awards, and it won an Emmy Award. Sir Ben Kingsley (born Krishna Pandit Bhanji; 31 December 1943) is an English actor. Wijster
Wijster is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Midden-Drenthe, and lies about 11 km north of Hoogeveen. History The village was first mentioned in 1206 as in Wisnare. The etymology is unknown. Wijster is an ''esdorp'' which developed in the Early Middle Ages as a satellite of Beilen. It used to have no church, but did have a large funnel shaped ''brink'' (village square). Wijster was home to 300 people in 1840. The Dutch Reformed church dates from 1929 and is a simple church with a little ridge turret. Wijster is best known for its landfill. ''Baantjer'' is a Dutch television programme which was broadcast by RTL 4 from 6 October 1995 until 1 December 2006 for a total of 123 episodes in 12 seasons.
