Rob Bruggeman
Robert Bruggeman (born March 21, 1986) is a former American football center. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Iowa. He has also been a member of the Atlanta Falcons. Early years Bruggeman went to high school at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he earned the nickname "Big Frame" and three varsity letters playing both offensive and defensive line. During his sophomore year, Rob garnered honorable mention All- Mississippi Valley Conference honors. During his junior and senior seasons, Bruggeman earned first-team All-Conference distinction as well as elite first team All-State honors. Bruggeman also helped the Warriors post a 21-2 record over those two years, with one loss coming at the end of each season. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. Jared Dwight Gaither (born March 18, 1986) is a former American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2007 Supplemental Draft. He played college football at Maryland. Gaither played for the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, and San Diego Chargers. 2009 NFL Draft
The 2009 NFL Draft was the seventy-fourth annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 25 and 26, 2009. The draft consisted of two rounds on the first day, starting at 4:00 pm EDT, and five rounds on the second day, starting at 10:00 am EDT. To compensate for the time change from the previous year and in an effort to help shorten the draft, teams were no longer on the clock for 15 minutes in the first round and 10 minutes in the second round. The South Carolina Gamecocks football program represents the University of South Carolina. The 2009 Outback Bowl was a college football bowl game played on January 1, 2009, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The 23rd edition of the Outback Bowl, it was one of the 2008–09 bowl games concluding the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Scheduled for a kickoff of 11 a.m. EST and telecast on ESPN, the game pitted the South Carolina Gamecocks against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Iowa jumped out to a large lead, leading South Carolina 21–0 at halftime and 31–0 at the end of the third quarter, en route to a 31–10 victory. The Western Michigan Broncos are a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I program representing Western Michigan University (WMU) in college athletics.
