Rob Alflen
Rob Alflen (born 7 May 1968) is a Dutch football manager and former player who is the assistant manager of Dutch Eredivisie club Fortuna Sittard. Playing career Club Alflen was born in Utrecht. He played for FC Utrecht, Ajax Amsterdam, Vitesse Arnhem, Sparta Rotterdam, and Cambuur Leeuwarden in the Eredivisie. Managerial career Since 2004, Alflen has been co-presenter of the TV program Namen & Rugnummer on RTV Utrecht. Alflen started his coaching career as a youth coach of FC De Bilt, and later became manager of the first team for the 2006–07 season. In the following season, he became assistant manager of HFC Haarlem but still remained as manager of De Bilt. From 2008 until 2010, he was manager of FC Breukelen. In February 2009, he also took a job at Jong FC Utrecht as manager of the team alongside his manager job at Breukelen. Erwin Koeman (born 20 September 1961) is a Dutch retired professional football player and retired football manager. Personal life He is the son of Dutch international footballer Martin Koeman, and, alongside his younger brother Ronald, has also represented the Netherlands. All three Koemans played for Groningen at some time during their careers. Erwin Koeman's son, Len, is also a footballer and currently plays for the Helmond Sport youth team. Ronald Koeman, his younger brother, is a manager who was most recently the coach of FC Barcelona. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. Loek Alflen
Loek Alflen (29 August 1933 – 17 August 2015) was a Dutch wrestler, he was Dutch national champion in the flyweight category between 1951 and 1970. He competed at the 1960 Olympics. Alflen was born in Utrecht, he was raised in a family with a total of thirteen children. As a six-year-old he became a member of the wrestling club De Halter, eventually all his seven brothers also joined. Five of the brothers eventually became national champions. Between 1951 and 1970 Alflen was the Dutch national champion in the flyweight category. He was 1.56 meters tall. He missed the 1956 Summer Olympics due to a Dutch boycott, which was in place due to the Soviet Union's role in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. He finished in thirteenth position in his division during the wrestling at the 1960 Summer Olympics. Loek Alfen died after a prolonged illness on 17 August 2015, aged 81.
