Road Fighter (album)
''Road Fighter'' is the third studio album by South Korean boy band SechsKies. It was released on July 15, 1998, by DSP Entertainment. It is most notable for featuring the hit single "Reckless Love". Background Following the success of their last album ''Welcome to the Sechskies Land'' with the promotional single, "Chivalry", which was the number-one song for five weeks on SBS' Inkigayo, the group went on a national tour around major cities in South Korea. In March 1998, their own movie, titled ''Seventeen'', was filmed during the production of the ''Road Fighter'' album, which both would be released in July of that year just a few days apart. For about a week and a half, Sechskies starred in a Korean version play called '' Alibaba and the 40 Thieves''. This play ran from April 25 to May 5. Sechs Kies
Sechs Kies (pronounced as ; ko, 젝스키스) is a first generation South Korean boy band. Making their debut on April 15, 1997, they are one of the first K-pop idol groups, credited with pioneering the idol scene and fandom culture. The group currently consists of the following active members Eun Ji-won, Lee Jai-jin, Kim Jae-duck, and Jang Su-won. Sechs Kies formally disbanded on May 20, 2000 and re-united on April 14, 2016. On May 10, 2016, they signed a contract with YG Entertainment and continue to promote as a team. Formation Eun Ji-won was scouted at a nightclub by DSP Entertainment's CEO while studying abroad in Hawaii, along with Kang Sung-hoon. The Golden Disc Awards (, formerly spelled the Golden Disk Awards before 2015) is an annual South Korean major music awards ceremony that honors achievements in the local music industry. Jang Su-won (born July 16, 1980) is a South Korean singer. Ko Ji-yong
Ko Ji-yong (born July 1, 1980) is a South Korean singer and businessman. He was a member of Sechs Kies, a first generation K-pop idol dance group which disbanded in 2000 but reunited in 2016. Unlike most of the other members, Ko left the entertainment industry and started his own company. He made his first television appearance in years when he appeared at Sechs Kies' reunion special on '' Infinite Challenge''. Due to his family and work commitments he did not sign a contract with the group's new label YG Entertainment or promote with them as a performer but is considered to be part of the group. Lee Jai-jin (Korean:이재진, born July 13, 1979) is a South Korean singer and dancer. Lee is the sub-rapper and main-dancer of the South Korean boy group Sechs Kies. Career 1997–2000: Sechs Kies Lee and Kim Jae-duck formed a dance crew called "Quicksilver’" in their hometown of Busan, and was selected as a trainee in Lee Juno's company.
