Riverview is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Riverview is located 9 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Lane Cove. Riverview is a historic house in Clarksville, Tennessee. It was built in 1830, and it became a writer's retreat for Allen Tate in the 1930s. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. History The house was built in 1830. With In 1930, the house was purchased by Ben Tate, Allen Tate's brother. Tate was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, English professor and a poet. Geography Riverview is located at (35.006342, -80.979822). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.3 square miles (5.9 km2), all land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 708 people, 277 households, and 193 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 309.7 people per square mile (119.4/km2).
