Rivercrest High School (Arkansas)
Rivercrest High School is a comprehensive public high school located in unincorporated Mississippi County, Arkansas, United States, with a Wilson postal address. It is the only high school administered by the Rivercrest School District (formerly the Southern Mississippi County School District) and houses the district's administrative offices. It is one of six public high schools in Mississippi County. The school provides secondary education in grades 7 through 12 to students in the municipalities of Wilson, Bassett, Birdsong, Dyess, Joiner, Keiser, Luxora, Marie, and Victoria. It also includes a portion of Osceola and a small portion of Etowah. Additionally several unincorporated areas are on the map: Driver, and Frenchmans Bayou. Arkansas Highway 14
Highway 14 (AR 14, Ark. 14, and Hwy. 14) is an east–west state highway in Arkansas. The route of begins at Boat Dock Road near Table Rock Lake and runs east to Mississippi County Route W1020 (CR W1020) at Golden Lake. Segments of the highway are part of two Arkansas Scenic Byways: Sylamore Scenic Byway in the Ozark National Forest and the Crowley's Ridge Parkway atop Crowley's Ridge. The highway's general alignment between the western terminus and Marked Tree closely follows the original routing as established in the initial 1926 Arkansas state highway numbering plan. The route from Highway 140 in Lepanto east across Interstate 55 to Golden Lake is a later extension. The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) is the primary sanctioning body for high school sports in state of Arkansas. AAA is a member association of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSHSA). Every public secondary school in Arkansas is a de jure member of the AAA, and most private schools, save for a few schools in the delta that belong to the Mississippi Private Schools Association and 22 Christian schools who belong to the Heartland Christian Athletic Association , are included in membership. The General Assembly of Arkansas is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Arkansas. The legislature is a bicameral body composed of the upper house Arkansas Senate with 35 members, and the lower Arkansas House of Representatives with 100 members.
