River Basin Development Authorities in Nigeria are government agencies involved in the management of water resources for agriculture and other uses. Cross River (native name: Oyono) is the main river in southeastern Nigeria and gives its name to Cross River State. It originates in Cameroon, where it takes the name of the Manyu River. The Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, otherwise known as Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA) is one of the twelve river basin development authorities in Nigeria. Imo River
The Imo River (Igbo:Imo) is in southeastern Nigeria and flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
