Fanfare Records was a British record label that was founded by Iain Burton (dancer in Dougie Squires, The Young Generation, manager of Arlene Phillips and co-founder of Hot Gossip) and Simon Cowell (which made Cowell's first break in the music industry). Burton and Cowell worked together at Fanfare Records for eight years. The label was most successful during the 1980s. The label's biggest success came with Sinitta. The Sacados is an Argentine musical group, active since the 1990s and consisting of Darío Moscatelli (born January 27, 1966) and Cynthia Nilson. History The Sacados was born as a project in Buenos Aires at the beginning of 1990. In those days the house sound, with its clearly danceable rhythm, swept the rankings of Europe and the United States, and was undoubtedly the main course of the clubs of Buenos Aires. The irresistible rhythm of their songs, added to a strong visual impact, supported by the costumes and choreography, gave the group its characteristic stamp. Carrere Records (french: Disques Carrère, link=no, ) was a French record label which specialized in Euro disco and rock music. The record company was sold to Warner Music Group in the early 1990s. Early days Claude Carrere started working with Annie Chancel in 1962 and renamed her Sheila, who remained his sole artist for a while. He set up Carrere Productions and the records were distributed by Philips Records. In the late 1960s, he created Disques Carrere. In 1972, he produced and distributed his own releases. Teldec (Telefunken-Decca Schallplatten GmbH) is a German record label in Hamburg, Germany. Today the label is a property of Warner Music Group. History Teldec was a producer of (first) shellac and (later) vinyl records. The Teldec manufacturing facility was located in Nortorf near Kiel in Germany. The company was founded in 1950 as a co-operation between Telefunken and Decca Records. The name Teldec is the result of taking the first three letters of both labels: Telefunken and Decca. Records manufactured by Teldec mostly were released under the Telefunken or Decca label, but normally these records contained no hint that they were made by Teldec.
