Rita H. Roaldsen
Rita H. Roaldsen (born 4 July 1956 in Ballangen) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Troms in 1993, but was not re-elected in 1997. Instead she served in the position of deputy representative during the term 1997–2001. Between 1997 and 1999, during the first cabinet Bondevik, she was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. Roaldsen was a member of Gratangen Gratangen ( sme, Rivttága suohkan) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Central Hålogaland. Ballangen
Ballangen ( sme, Bálák) is a former municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1925 until its dissolution in 2020. The municipality was part of the traditional district of Ofoten. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Ballangen. Other villages in the municipality included Bjørkåsen, Kjeldebotn, Kobbvika, and Skarstad. The municipality bordered Narvik Municipality to the east and Tysfjord Municipality to the south, and had a short border with Sweden to the southeast. Ballangen was situated on the southern shore of Ofotfjorden. Ballangen also included the long and narrow Efjorden, just south of the much larger Ofotfjorden. Its immediate surroundings were dominated by fjords, mountains, and forests. Ballangen relied on the nearby town of Narvik as its economic base.
