Rita Eriksen
Rita Eriksen (born May 26, 1966 in Sola, Norway) is a Norwegian singer, as solo artist and in the 1990s, as part of the Norwegian singing duo Eriksen with her sibling guitarist and singer Frank Eriksen. Rita Eriksen was also briefly a member of vocal group Queen Bees. Career ;in duo Eriksen In 1989, she formed the duo Eriksen is a Norwegian duo consisting of Rita on vocals and Frank Eriksen, her sibling, on guitar and vocals. The duo played music in the roots / country / blues / show genre. The duo released four studio albums; the two first one with English subtitles. For debut album ''Two Blue'' in 1992, the duo received the 1992 Norwegian Grammy Award 1992 in roots and country music. Hilde Heltberg
Hilde Heltberg (30 September 1959 – 4 September 2011) was a Norwegian singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in Oslo, Norway. Career Heltberg started her career in the late 70s when she entered a talent competition judged by Stein Ove Berg, who became her mentor. She later joined the band Uncle John's Band, and, in 1982, X-tra, with Trond Granlund. She released her first, self-titled, solo album in 1982, but found a more individual style in 1983 with ''På bare bein'' (On bare feet), produced by Jonas Fjeld. All in all Heltberg released 12 albums over the course of her career. She also participated in the Norwegian qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest three times as an artist: in 1980, 1984 and 1985, and as a songwriter in 2000. Her last single, titled "Elske fritt" (Free love) was released in 2009. Georg "Jojje" Wadenius (born 4 May 1945) is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer who was particularly active during the 1970s and 1980s as a studio and session guitarist and bassist, as well as for a series of albums of children's songs in Sweden. Biography Wadenius was born in Stockholm, Sweden, where he attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School. After appearing on a number of Swedish hit records and being founder-member of two Swedish supergroups of the early 1970s, Made in Sweden (1966–1972 and 1976) and (1971–1972), he relocated to the United States to become lead guitarist of the US group Blood, Sweat & Tears from 1972 to 1975. Hellbillies
Hellbillies is a Norwegian rock band. Biography As of 2012, they have released thirteen albums—including a compilation and two live albums—as well as two live concert DVDs. They are among Norway's most popular recording artists. Their lyrics are written and sung in the dialect of the Hallingdal area of Norway and there is evidence of influence from traditional (folk) Norwegian music, giving a distinctive "Norwegian" flavor to their country music. Their early albums often included songs originally recorded by country music artists from the US with Hellbillies writing new lyrics in Norwegian. Later efforts have included much more original material that reflect contemporary Norwegian people and Norwegian life and issues. Dolores Keane
Dolores Keane (born 26 September 1953) is an Irish folk singer and occasional actress. She was a founding member of the group De Dannan and has since embarked on a solo career. Background Keane was born in a small village called Sylane (near Tuam) in rural County Galway in the west of Ireland.
