Risto Pekka Kaskilahti (born 29 January 1963, in Viitasaari)Kuka kukin on 2007, Otava 2006 is a Finnish actor. Kaskilahti has worked in the Helsinki City Theatre since 2001, but he came to the public's attention as a regular competitor on ''Se on siinä'', a humorous sports quiz show, of which screenwriter he has also been. He has also portrayed in several movies and TV-series. In 2005, Kaskilahti was awarded his second Telvis-prize. When performing on ''Elixir'', a Finnish sports-focused TV-show, he trained with the official Finnish cross-country skiing team. Occasionally a weatherman for the channel Four news, Kaskilahti has also acted in various plays at the Helsinki City Theatre, e.g. Viivi & Wagner and a ''Beauty and the Beast'' musical. The Helsinki City Theatre ( fi, Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri; sv, Helsingfors stadsteater) is a theatre located in Helsinki, Finland. Owned by the Helsinki Theatre Foundation, it calls itself a "modern popular bilingual repertoire theatre." The Helsinki City Theatre is the only Finnish representative in the European Theatre Convention. In addition to drama and musicals, the theatre operates a concert dance oriented branch, the Helsinki Dance Company. Annual figures reported by the theatre include 20 new productions, 1,100 performances, and 350,000 spectators. The theatre has 250 permanent members of staff, and operates across 6 stages. Satumaa – Unto Monosen Elämä Ja Tangot
"Satumaa" (roughly, in English "The Fabled Land" or "The Fairytale Land") is the quintessential Finnish tango. It was written by Unto Mononen, and published in 1955. The most famous recording is probably the one made by Reijo Taipale in 1962. The lyrics tell a story of a distant land beyond the sea – a happy paradise – however, the narrator can only reach it in his thoughts. The song has been recorded countless times, mainly by male Finnish tango singers. An unusual take on "Satumaa" (and perhaps one more likely to be known outside of Finland) appears on a Frank Zappa live album from a Helsinki concert in 1974. Requested at short notice, the band plays the song from sheet music with the (non-Finnish-speaking) vocalist Napoleon Murphy Brock trying his best to read the Finnish lyrics. ''The Classic'' ( fi, Klassikko) is a 2001 Finnish comedy film directed by Kari Väänänen. It is based on Kari Hotakainen's semi-autobiographical novel ''Klassikko''.
