Rising Star Indonesia
''Rising Star Indonesia'' is a reality singing competition of Israeli origin that began airing on RCTI on 28 August 2014. This program is based on the Israeli singing competition, HaKokhav HaBa and produced by Israel-based, Keshet Media, '' Rising Star''. The program's format lets viewers vote for contestants via mobile apps. This format adds to the list of RCTI singing competitions along with ''Indonesian Idol'' and ''X Factor Indonesia''. Fabian Dharmawan, the showrunner of said programs, was appointed by the network to produce the show. The first season of ''Rising Star Indonesia'' began airing on 28 August 2014 after auditions in five cities. The finale was held on December 19, 2014. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. Rising Star Indonesia (season 3)
The third season of ''Rising Star Indonesia'' aired on RCTI starting 17 December 2018. Judika, Nazril Irham, Ariel "Noah", and Rossa (singer), Rossa returned as experts from the Rising Star Indonesia (season 2), previous season, while Indonesian composer Yovie Widianto replaced Anang Hermansyah. Audition was held in four major cities in Indonesia: Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, and Jakarta. Regional Auditions On 11 September 2018, it was announced that ''Rising Star Indonesia 2018'' would begin the auditions in four big cities in Indonesia: Bandung, Medan, Surabaya, and Jakarta. Four cities also added as a ''special hunt'' auditions, those cities are Yogyakarta, Kupang, Makassar, and Ambon, Maluku, Ambon. Rising Star Indonesia (season 2)
The second season of Rising Star Indonesia an Indonesian reality singing television competition aired on RCTI. Judika, :id:Anang Hermansyah, Anang Hermansyah, Nazril Irham, Ariel Noah (band), "''Noah''" and Rossa (singer), Rossa are appointed as the experts. Boy William, Nirina Zubir and :id:Robby Purba, Robby Purba are appointed as hosts. The winner of which receives a 1 billion rupiahs recording contract with :id:Hits Record, Hits Record. The second season aired on 12 December 2016 and is produced by RCTI in-house production and led by Fabian Dharmawan. Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo (born Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo; 26 May 1972), better known as Ahmad Dhani, Dhani Muhammad Prasetyo or Dhani S. Manaf, is an Indonesian musician. The ''X Factor Indonesia'' is an Indonesian reality television music competition to find new singing talent, contested by aspiring singers drawn from public audition. The show was adopted from British ''The X Factor'' and produced by FremantleMedia (now Fremantle) and Cowell's production company Syco. It is broadcast on RCTI.
