Rise And Shine (EP)
''Rise and Shine'' is the third EP by American singer and songwriter Cassadee Pope, released on August 7, 2020 through Awake Music. Pope co-wrote all eight of the tracks and also co-produced the record with Todd Lombardo, both firsts in her solo career. Recording ''Rise and Shine'' includes a cover of "Hangover", originally recorded by Pope's band Hey Monday on their 2010 extended play, ''Beneath It All''. The other seven songs were written in 2017 but were not recorded in full until 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pope's boyfriend, actor and musician Sam Palladio, is featured as a backing vocalist on "California Dreaming". Cassadee Blake Pope (born August 28, 1989) is an American pop and country singer. She was the lead vocalist and songwriter of the pop band Hey Monday, with whom she released one studio album and two EPs. Pope embarked on a solo career in early 2012 and released the EP ''Cassadee Pope'' in May 2012. She took part in the third season of ''The Voice'' and became the first female winner in December 2012. Her debut solo country album, '' Frame by Frame'', was released in 2013 to a top 10 ''Billboard'' 200 charting. It debuted at No. 1 on Top Country Albums, with 43,000 copies sold in its first week. Top Pop Catalog Albums is a 50-position weekly albums chart produced by ''Billboard'' Magazine which ranks the best-selling catalog albums in the United States, regardless of genre. ''Billboard'' defines a catalog title as one that is more than 18 months old and that has fallen below position 100 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Albums meeting these criteria are removed from the ''Billboard'' ''Current Albums'' ranking and begin a new chart run on the ''Top Pop Catalog Albums'' chart. Matthew B. Scannell (born February 10, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Scannell is the lead vocalist, lead guitarist, primary songwriter, and founding member of the alternative rock band Vertical Horizon. Background Scannell is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts. He was given his first guitar when he was seven years old. Scannell attended high school at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts. He was the lead guitarist for the glam metal band SouthGang from the late 1980s to early 1990s as well as the lead vocalist and guitarist for rock band Marvelous 3 from 1997 until 2001. Tina Annetta Parol (née Borusowski; 1988) is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. Biography Parol is a first generation American, born to Polish immigrants. She is still fluent in Polish. She was born in New Jersey and at age 2 moved to Buffalo, New York and grew up in West Seneca, New York.
