Rinov Rivaldy
Rinov Rivaldy (born 12 November 1999) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club. He won the gold medal at the 2017 World Junior Championships, and bronze medals at the 2019 and 2021 Southeast Asian Games in the mixed doubles with Pitha Haningtyas Mentari. Career 2023 In January, Rivaldy and Pitha Haningtyas Mentari started 2023 BWF World Tour by losing in the first round of Malaysia Open from 8th seed Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue of France. In the next week, they also lost the first round of India Open from 4th seed Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping of China. They competed in the home tournament, Indonesia Masters, but unfortunately lost in the second round from unseeded Chinese pair Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping. Huang Dongping
Huang Dongping (; born 30 April 1995) is a Chinese badminton player. She is the reigning mixed doubles Olympic Champion, and was two-time mixed doubles Asian Champion winning in 2018 and 2019. Career Huang competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics partnering with Wang Yilyu as the second seeds. The duo won a gold medal after beating their compatriots Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong in the final in a close rubber game. Huang played at the 2021 Sudirman Cup in Vantaa, Finland, and was part of the China squad that lifted the Sudirman Cup trophy. The 2023 India Open (officially known as the Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament that took place at the K. D. Jadhav Indoor Hall in New Delhi, India, from 17 to 22 January 2023. It had a total prize pool of US$750,000. This was the first India Open to have a Super 750 status. Delphine Delrue
Delphine Aurore Delrue (born 6 November 1998) is a French badminton player. Delrue started playing badminton at aged seven, and she affiliate with the USEE Badminton club in 2006. Delrue was selected to join the national team in INSEP in 2016. In 2015, she became the runner-up of European University Championships in the women's doubles and mixed doubles events. In 2016, she won French National Badminton Championships in the women's doubles event with her partner Léa Palermo. She also the runner-up at the Orléans International in the women's doubles event and Swiss International in the mixed doubles event. In 2017, she became the runner-up at the Estonian International partnered with Léa Palermo. She competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, clinched the women's doubles gold with Palermo. Thom Gicquel
Thom Mark Gicquel (born 12 January 1999) is a French badminton player. Born in Tours, he started playing badminton at aged six in his parents club. Gicquel made his debut in the international senior tournament at the 2015 Riga International in Latvia, finished as the men's doubles runner-up partnered with Thomas Baures. He was part of the national junior team that won the bronze medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships, and made it to the gold medal in 2017. He also won the gold medal in the boys' doubles event with Toma Junior Popov. At the 2018 European Men's Team Championships, he helped the team claim the bronze medal. Teamed-up with Bastian Kersaudy, they clinched the men's doubles gold at the 2018 Mediterranean Games. 2023 BWF World Tour
The 2023 BWF World Tour (officially known as 2023 HSBC BWF World Tour for sponsorship reasons), is the sixth season of the BWF World Tour of badminton, a circuit of 31 tournaments that lead up to the World Tour Finals tournament. The 31 tournaments are divided into five levels: Level 1 is the said World Tour Finals, Level 2 called Super 1000 (4 tournaments), Level 3 called Super 750 (6 tournaments), Level 4 called Super 500 (9 tournaments) and Level 5 called Super 300 (11 tournaments). Each of these tournaments offers different ranking points and prize money. The highest points and prize pool are offered at the Super 1000 level (including the World Tour Finals). One other category of the tournament, the BWF Tour Super 100 (level 6), also offers BWF World Tour ranking points. 2016 Badminton Asia Junior Championships
The 2016 Badminton Asia Junior Championships is the 19th edition of the Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand, between 9 and 17 July 2016. The championships consists of mixed team and individual events.
