Rino Agostinis (born April 4, 1953), sometimes referred to as Reno Agostinis, is a Canadian former soccer player who played as a defender. Career Although born in Italy, his family moved to Canada when he was five years-old. Agostinis played in the National Soccer League in 1972 with Toronto Italia. He spent time back in Italy with Serie D side, AC Monfalcone, before returning to British Columbia to finish his degree at Simon Fraser University, where he also played. He was a preliminary selection for the 1976 Canadian Olympic team. Agostinis toured with national team, but was not featured on the final roster. In 1976, he played in the Vancouver Island Soccer League with Vancouver Italia-Canadian Pauls. The following season he played in the North American Soccer League with Tampa Bay Rowdies. Rino Serri (23 January 1933 – 6 April 2006) was an Italian Communist politician. Biography In the mid-1950s, Serri was in charge of the Reggio Emilia Province in the Italian Communist Youth Federation. In 1957 he entered the Central Committee of the Italian Communist Youth Federation and from 3 October 1960 to 29 October 1962, he was the National Secretary. From 1963 to 1969 in the PCI he was provincial secretary of Reggio Emilia. From 4 January 1965 to 1970 he was a municipal councilor in Reggio Emilia. Rino Rossi was born in Chiavenna on 14 August 1889 and was an Italian national. He became Pretore (magistrate) in Caraglio in 1920, and for Turin in 1924. In 1928 he was appointed as President of the District Court of Rhodes, and then in 1934 he was appointed to the District Court in Rome. He was a judge at the Consular Court in Cairo in 1936, then seconded to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1940. In 1941 he returned to Rhodes as President of the Court of Appeal. Here, he took part to the deportation of the entire local Jewish community in July 1944 and was the head of the committees for the alienation of Jewish property. Rino Anthony Pretto (born 13 June 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for various clubs in the Victorian Football League, Victorian Football Association (VFA) and with Fitzroy Football Club, Fitzroy in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL).
