Rings Of Saturn
The rings of Saturn are the most extensive ring system of any planet in the Solar System. They consist of countless small particles, ranging in size from micrometers to meters, that orbit around Saturn. The ring particles are made almost entirely of water ice, with a trace component of rocky material. There is still no consensus as to their mechanism of formation. Although theoretical models indicated that the rings were likely to have formed early in the Solar System's history, newer data from '' Cassini'' suggested they formed relatively late. Although reflection from the rings increases Saturn's brightness, they are not visible from Earth with unaided vision. In 1610, the year after Galileo Galilei turned a telescope to the sky, he became the first person to observe Saturn's rings, though he could not see them well enough to discern their true nature. In 1655, Christiaan Huygens was the first person to describe them as a disk surrounding Saturn. The concept that Saturn's rin ...

The Rings Of Saturn
''The Rings of Saturn'' (german: Die Ringe des Saturn: Eine englische Wallfahrt - An English Pilgrimage) is a 1995 novel by the German writer W. G. Sebald. Its first-person narrative arc is the account by a nameless narrator (who resembles the author in typical Sebaldian fashion) on a walking tour of Suffolk. In addition to describing the places he sees and people he encounters, including translator Michael Hamburger, Sebald discusses various episodes of history and literature, including the introduction of silkworm cultivation to Europe and the writings of Thomas Browne, which attach in some way to the larger text. The book was published in English in 1998. Genre and content Combining the details of a walking tour with meditations prompted by places and people encountered on that tour, ''The Rings of Saturn'' was called "a hybrid of a bookfiction, travel, biography, myth, and memoir". Themes and style Themes in the book are those treated in Sebald's other books: time, memory, ...

Lucky Starr And The Rings Of Saturn
''Lucky Starr and the Rings of Saturn'' is the final novel in the ''Lucky Starr'' series, six juvenile science fiction novels by Isaac Asimov that originally appeared under the pseudonym Paul French. The novel was first published by Doubleday & Company in 1958. It was the last novel to be published by Asimov until his 1966 novelization of ''Fantastic Voyage'', and his last original novel until 1973's ''The Gods Themselves''. ''Lucky Starr and the Rings of Saturn'' is the only novel by Asimov set in the Saturnian system. Setting ''Lucky Starr and the Rings of Saturn'' is set mostly within the Saturnian system, depicted as accurately as the knowledge of the late 1950s allowed. At that time, only nine satellites had been discovered, the innermost known satellite being Mimas. Asimov describes Mimas as being 340 miles in diameter, but its diameter is now known to be 240 miles. Several of the novel's chapters are set on Titan, which was then thought to be the third largest sa ...

Rings Of Saturn (Rashied Ali And Louie Belogenis Album)
''Rings of Saturn'' is an album of duets by drummer Rashied Ali and saxophonist Louie Belogenis. It was recorded during August 1997 at Survival Studios in New York City, and was released in 1999 by Knitting Factory Records. Along with six original works, the recording includes two compositions by John Coltrane, including "Saturn," which originally appeared on ''Interstellar Space'', an album of Coltrane/Ali duets recorded in 1967. Reception In a review for AllMusic, Alex Henderson called the album "a heartfelt, satisfying date that admirers of free jazz will enjoy," and stated that, although Belogenis was clearly influenced by both John Coltrane and Albert Ayler, "he's also his own man, and the saxman makes that clear on original material as well as fiery, intensely emotional performances of the Trane pieces 'Saturn'... and 'Seraphic Light'." The authors of ''The Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings'' noted that "Ali's language has continued to develop in line with a new generation of ...

Skeleton Tree
''Skeleton Tree'' is the sixteenth studio album by Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It was released on 9 September 2016 on Bad Seed Ltd. A follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed album ''Push the Sky Away'' (2013), ''Skeleton Tree'' was recorded over 18 months at Retreat Recording Studios in Brighton, La Frette Studios in La Frette-sur-Seine and Air Studios in London. It was produced by Nick Cave, Warren Ellis and Nick Launay. During the sessions, Cave's 15-year-old son, Arthur, died from an accidental fall. Most of the album had been written at the time of Cave's son's death, but several lyrics were amended by Cave during subsequent recording sessions and feature themes of death, loss, and personal grief. ''Skeleton Tree''s minimal production and "less polished" sound incorporates elements of electronica and ambient music and, like ''Push the Sky Away'', features extensive use of synthesizers, drum machines and loops. Several songs on the album uti ...

Professional Wrestling Holds
Professional wrestling holds include a number of set moves and pins used by performers to immobilize their opponents or lead to a Submission wrestling, submission. This article covers the various pins, stretches and transition holds used in the ring. Some wrestlers use these holds as their finishing maneuvers, often nicknaming them to reflect their character or persona. Moves are listed under general categories whenever possible. Stretches An element borrowed from professional wrestling's catch wrestling origins, stretches (or submission holds) are techniques in which a wrestler holds another in a position that puts stress on the opponent's body. Stretches are usually employed to weaken an opponent or to force them to ''submit'', either vocally or by ''tapping out'': slapping the mat, floor, or opponent with a free hand three times. Many of these holds, when applied vigorously, stretch the opponent's muscles or twist their joints uncomfortably, hence the name. Chokes, although not ...
