Rimma Nikitichna Brailovskaya (14 April 1877, Tartu, Russian Empire – 28 September 1959, Rome, Italy) was a Russian painter. She worked in the genres of landscapes and genre paintings using in watercolor and tempera. She also worked created embroidery and applique. She was a participant of the Russian apostolate in Diaspora. Biography Brailovskaya was daughter of a general. In 1898 she married the artist Leonid Brailovsky, who lived in Moscow. Rimma Mikhailovna Ivanova ( Russian: Римма Михайловна Иванова; 27 June 1894 – 22 September 1915) was a Russian nurse, participant of the First World War. She was the only woman in the Russian Empire, awarded the military Order of St. George 4th Class. Live Rimma Ivanova was born in 1894 in Stavropol. In 1913 she finished the Olginskaya Women's Gymnasium of Stavropol. She worked as a zemstvo school teacher in the village of Petrovskoye (now Svetlograd town). After the outbreak of the First World War, she entered the nurses' courses in Stavropol. In January 1915 she volunteered as a nurse in the Russian army. She was known for writing many popular songs of the Soviet era. Biography Kazakova was born in Sevastopol, Soviet Union. She graduated from the history department of Leningrad State University. She worked as a lecturer in Khabarovsk. Her first rhymes were reminiscent of Yevtushenko, Okudzhava, Voznesensky and Rozhdestvensky and were first published in 1955. Her first poetry collection, ''Let's Meet in the East'' (russian: Встретимся на Востоке), was published in 1958. From 1959 until her death, she was a member of the Union of Soviet Writers. She was named a People's Artist of Russia in 1994, whereas her younger brother Leonid Markov was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1985. Rimma Dmitrievna Kuruch (russian: Римма Дмитриевна Куруч, 6 May 1938 – 8 July 2019) was a specialist in language education. Much of her work focused on documenting, preserving, and encouraging the use of Kildin Sámi. Kuruch also helped form the Kola Sámi Association and served as its first co-vice president.
