Riize
Riize (; stylized in all caps; pronounced as "Rise") is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. They debuted on September 4, 2023, with the single album '' Get a Guitar''. Name The group's name, Riize, is a name created by combining "Rise", which means "growth", and "Realize", which means "a team that grows together and realizes dreams". ''Get a Guitar'' is the debut single album by South Korean boy group Riize. Released on September 4, 2023, by SM Entertainment through Kakao Entertainment, the single album consists of two tracks, "Memories" and the title track of the same name, which both were released to promote the single album on August 21 and September 4, respectively. Background SM Entertainment announced in May 2023 that they will debut their new boy group, seven years after the debut of NCT, with the announcement that former NCT members Shotaro and Sungchan would withdraw from the group to join the lineup and SM Rookies members Eunseok and Seunghan would make their debut. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday.
