Rif Saitgareev
Rif Raisovich Saitgareev (23 August 1960 – 18 June 1996) was an international speedway rider from the Soviet Union and Russia. Speedway career Saitgareev was four times champion of the Russia after winning the Russian Individual Speedway Championship in 1983, 1984, 1988 and 1995. He was also the Soviet Union Champion in 1982, 1984 and 1989. Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes.
