Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1991) is a Canadian actress. She is known for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW series ''Arrow'', her first television credit. She has also reprised the role in the Arrowverse shows ''The Flash'', ''Legends of Tomorrow'' and ''Supergirl'' and voiced the character on the animated web series ''Vixen''. John Rickards (priest)
John Witherston Rickards (22 January 1844 – 21 June 1921), priest, founded the Anglican Parish of St Cyprian the Martyr at New Rush, Kimberley, on the South African Diamond Fields, in 1871. He served a curacy at St Cyprian's, Marylebone, London, and following his time in South Africa he was vicar of Dixton in Monmouthshire, from 1886 until his death in 1921. Esther Rickards (13 July 1893 – 9 February 1977) was a British surgeon and politician. Born in the Paddington area of London, Rickards' family were Jewish. In 1913, she, her sister and her cousin protested at the New West End Synagogue in support of women's suffrage. Rickards' father was a veterinary surgeon, and she hoped to follow him into the profession. However, at the time, women were not permitted to train as vets, so she instead trained in medicine at the Regent Street Polytechnic, Birkbeck College, London School of Medicine and St Mary's Hospital, London. In 1923, she obtained her Master of Surgery qualification, an unusual achievement for a woman at the time, and in 1924 she was one of the first women accepted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Harry Rickards (4 December 1843 – 13 October 1911), born Henry Benjamin Leete, was an English-born baritone, comedian and theatre owner, most active in vaudeville and stage, first in his native England and then Australia after emigrating in 1871. Clint Rickards
Clint Rickards (born January 20, 1961) is a former high-ranking New Zealand police officer who in the 2000s was accused of involvement in a number of sexual crimes in the 1980s. These involved multiple police officers having sex with teenage girls. Rickards was brought to trial in two cases, one for the alleged rape of Louise Nicholas and another for allegedly kidnapping and indecently assaulting a then 16-year-old girl. He was acquitted in both trials in March 2006. Although he and co-accused, former policemen Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum, were acquitted, the juries in both trials were not allowed to hear of the previous convictions of Schollum and Shipton or that they were both currently serving sentences for a pack rape that involved the use of a baton on a young woman in Mt Maunganui in 1989. Samuel Rickards (1796–1865) was a Church of England clergyman, opponent of the Oxford Movement, and writer of devotional literature. Biography Rickards, son of Thomas Rickards of Leicester, was born in 1796. He matriculated from Oriel College, Oxford, on 28 January 1813, graduating B.A. in 1817 and M.A. in 1820. He was a fellow there from 16 April 1819 to 6 October 1822, being contemporary with John Keble and other leaders of the ritualistic movement.
