Rick Van Drongelen
Rick van Drongelen (born 20 December 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Turkish club Samsunspor. Career Van Drongelen is a youth exponent from Sparta Rotterdam. He made his team debut on 4 December 2015 against FC Volendam replacing Thomas Verhaar in extra time. On 3 August 2017, Van Drongelen joined Bundesliga club Hamburger SV on a five-year deal. The transfer fee paid to Sparta Rotterdam was reported as €3 million. On 15 June 2021, Van Drongelen signed with Union Berlin. On 31 January 2022, Van Drongelen was loaned to Mechelen until the end of the season. On 11 July 2023, van Drongelen signed a three-year contract with Samsunspor in Turkey. Terneuzen
Terneuzen () is a city and municipality in the southwestern Netherlands, in the province of Zeeland, in the middle of Zeelandic Flanders. 2016–17 Eredivisie
The 2016–17 Eredivisie season was the 61st season of the top-tier Dutch League Eredivisie since its establishment in 1956. The fixtures for this season were announced on 14 June 2016. Teams A total of 18 teams took part in the league: The best fifteen teams from the 2015–16 season, two promotion/relegation playoff winners and the 2015–16 Eerste Divisie champions. Sparta Rotterdam, the champion of the 2015–16 Eerste Divisie, returned to the Eredivisie after spending six seasons in the Eerste Divisie, whereas play-off winner Go Ahead Eagles returned to the Eredivisie after just one season. They replaced relegated teams Cambuur and De Graafschap. As a result of financial maladministration, the KNVB had originally taken FC Twente's license, causing them to relegate to the 2016-17 Eerste Divisie. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig. The season runs from August to May, with each club playing 36 matches. Matches are played Friday through Monday. The competition was initially established in 1923. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium.
