Richie Hogan
Richard Hogan (born 8 August 1988) is an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder at senior level for the Kilkenny county team from 2007 until 2023. Born in Waterford in 1988, Hogan is a native of Danesfort, County Kilkenny. Hogan first played competitive hurling during his schooling at St Kieran's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team, before later joining the under-21 side. He joined the senior panel during the 2007 championship. Hogan soon became a regular member of the starting fifteen and has won seven All-Ireland medals, seven Leinster medals and four National Hurling League medals. He has been an All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions. As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team, Hogan has won one Railway Cup medal. The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. Knockbridge GAA
Knockbridge GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Knockbridge, County Louth, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Founded in 1999, the club is solely concerned with the game of hurling. The club has won 12 Louth Senior Hurling Championship titles. History After hurling was first introduced to the Knockbridge area in 1984, Knockbridge Juvenile Hurling Club was established the following year. A number of under-12 and under-14 titles were secured over the next few years. An adult section of the juvenile club was founded on 12 November 1998. Knockbridge Hurling Club was eventually affiliated at the first County Committee meeting on 4 January 1999.
