Richardson Building (Winnipeg)
The Richardson Building is a 34-storey office tower at the intersection of Portage and Main in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The building forms the anchor of the Lombard Place development, and is connected to Winnipeg Square shopping mall via the Portage and Main Concourse. The thirty-four storey building stands 124 metres tall (407 ft), making it the (behind 201 Portage and 300 main) third tallest building in Winnipeg. It is dressed in granite chip pre-cast concrete and solar bronze double-glazed glass. In 2011, the CBC moved its digital television transmitters for CBWT-DT and CBWFT-DT to the Richardson Building, on a new antenna that raised the pinnacle of the building to , once again making it the tallest structure in Winnipeg. University Of Otago Faculty Of Law
The Faculty of Law is one of the professional schools at the University of Otago. Otago is New Zealand's oldest law school, lectures in law having begun in 1873. The Faculty of Law is currently located in the Richardson Building at Otago's main campus in the city of Dunedin. The Faculty of Law awards the degrees of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). A Bachelor of Laws Honours program also exists and is reserved for approximately the top 10% of LL.B. students. In 2007, the Law Faculty had approximately 800 equivalent full-time students. Approximately 200 students are in each of second, third, and fourth-year law, and over 700 students are enrolled in the first-year LAWS 101 course, which is a prerequisite to being admitted into full-time legal studies as a second year law student. Richardson Block
The Richardson Block is a historic block of commercial buildings at 113-151 Pearl and 109-119 High Streets in Boston, Massachusetts. It consists of a series of buildings constructed in the aftermath of the Great Boston Fire of 1872. The first of these buildings, at the corner of Pearl and High Streets, was designed by William Preston and built in 1873 for Jeffrey Richardson, using granite and brick salvaged from buildings that had previously stood on the site. The area was an important locus of the leather goods business both before and after the fire, and the buildings constructed after the fire are among the only neo-Greek commercial structures standing in Boston's Financial District. The properties were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The Richardson Building is a commercial structure located in Union City, Oklahoma. The building was a center of commerce for the town of 300 people. A fire destroyed the interior of the structure in 1928, but the roof was replaced and the building was restored.
