Richardis Of Sualafeldgau
Richardis of Sualafeldgau (''Richwara''; – 8 July 994) was Margravine of Austria from 976 until 994 as consort of the first Babenberg margrave Leopold I. Life Richardis' descent has not been conclusively established: she possibly was a daughter of the Franconian count Ernst IV of Sualafeldgau, or may have been a daughter of the Ezzonid count Erenfried II and his wife Richwara of Zülpichgau. She was probably also related to Adalbero of Eppenstein, Duke of Carinthia from 1011/12 to 1035. Richardis married Leopold I (-994) on a date unknown. Her husband was appointed Margrave of Austria by Emperor Otto II on 21 July 976, after the deposition of Margrave Burkhard. She died in 994, according to several obituaries on the same day her husband was killed in a tournament in Würzburg. Bernhard V, Lord of Lippe ( – before 1365) was a member of the House of Lippe and was Lord of Rheda from 1344 until his death. Life Bernard was the son of Lord Simon I and Adelaide of Waldeck. His eldest brother was also called Bernard V and was Prince-Bishop of Paderborn. After his father's death in 1344, the county was divided. Bernhard was given the area around Rheda and Lippstadt. Richarda Morrow-Tait (22 November 1923 – 17 December 1982) was an English pilot, the first woman to pilot an aircraft around the world, accomplishing the feat after a number of mishaps in a year and a day. Morrow-Tait began taking flying lessons in January 1946. On 18 August 1948, the then 24-year-old left behind her aeronautical engineer husband Norman and their 18-month-old daughter Anna, and took off from Croydon, England, in a single-engine Percival Proctor IV ''G-AJMU'', with 25-year-old Cambridge University graduate student Michael Townsend as navigator. She named the aircraft "Thursday's Child" (who "has far to go" in the nursery rhyme "Monday's Child"). They traveled east. There were rough landings in Marseille (causing minor damage) and Cyprus.
