Richard Whiting (rugby League)
Richard Whiting (born 20 December 1984), also known by the nickname "Superman", is an English former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Toronto Wolfpack in the Championship (rugby league), Championship. Able to play in a variety of positions, he was considered a Rugby league positions#Utility, utility player. Previously playing in the Championship (rugby league), Championship for the Featherstone Rovers and the Leigh Centurions, he spent most of his professional career in the Super League with Hull F.C., Hull FC, with whom he won the 2005 Challenge Cup, and was named Super League's Young Player of the Year in 2005. Featherstone is a town and civil parishes in England, civil parish in the City of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, two miles south-west of Pontefract. London Broncos
The London Broncos are a professional rugby league club in London, England. The club competes in the RFL Championship. It was a member of Super League from its inaugural season in 1996 until the end of the 2014 season, when they were relegated to the Championship. They returned to the Super League after achieving promotion by winning the Million Pound Game against the Toronto Wolfpack in 2018, but were relegated back to the Championship at the end of the 2019 Super League season after finishing 12th. The club was originally formed in 1980 as Fulham Rugby League Club and entered the Second Division for the 1980–81 season.
