Richard Maden
Jonathan Richard Maden (born 21 September 1972) is a male English former competitive swimmer who specialised in breaststroke events. Swimming career He represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, he finished ninth in the men's 100-metre breaststroke in a time of 1:02.51. He represented England and won a silver medal in the 4 x 100 metres medley relay event, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 1997 at the ASA National British Championships he won all three National breaststroke titles over 50 metres breaststroke, 100 metres breaststroke and the 200 metres breaststroke. Mark Andrew Foster (born 12 May 1970) is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics and world championships, and swam for England in the Commonwealth Games. Foster is a former world champion and won multiple medals in international competition during his long career. He competed primarily in butterfly and freestyle at 50 metres. Foster is a specialist short-course (25 metre pool) swimmer. In terms of medals and longevity (1986–2008), he is amongst the most successful British swimmers of all time. He was the fastest swimmer in the country by age 15. He made a comeback at the national championships in July 2007 winning both events he competed in after barely training. James Hickman
James Hickman (born 2 February 1976) is a male English former competitive swimmer. Swimming career Hickman represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. He became a world champion five times on the 200 m butterfly in short course (25 m), twice world record holder, Commonwealth Champion and four times European Champion. He announced his retirement from the sport in 2004. During that year he reached the semi-final of the 100 m butterfly in the 2004 Athens Olympics, finishing with a time of 53.10 seconds. He also reached the semi-final in the 2000 Sydney Olympics finishing 6th (likewise in the 200 m butterfly).
