Richard Kahui
Richard Kahui (born 9 June 1985) is a New Zealand rugby union player. He plays for Western Force in Super Rugby AU. He previously played for the and in Super Rugby, Waikato in the National Provincial Championship, and New Zealand internationally. He plays at centre and wing. Career Domestic Kahui debuted for Waikato in the 2004 NPC. In 2006, he was the top try scorer for the Air New Zealand Cup, and was named the 'Air New Zealand Cup Player of the Year'. Kahui made his Super Rugby debut in 2006 with the Highlanders. In 2007 he signed with the where he remained for the duration of his playing career in New Zealand. In 2012, he was a part of the championship-winning Chiefs squad. In 2013 it was announced that he signed with Toshiba Brave Lupus on a two-year deal, beginning with the 2013–14 Top League season. Tokoroa
Tokoroa ( mi, Te Kaokaoroa o Pātetere) is the fifth-largest town in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand and largest settlement in the South Waikato District. Located 30 km southwest of Rotorua, close to the foot of the Mamaku Ranges, it is midway between Taupo and Hamilton on State Highway 1. David Hill (rugby Union)
David William Hill (born 31 July 1978 in Blenheim, New Zealand) is a rugby union player. His position is fly-half. He spent most of his career playing for Waikato and the Chiefs. He also played for the All Blacks between 2001 and 2006, in which he has played 1 test and 2 games In November 2006 he started playing for the Bristol Rugby club in the Guinness Premiership, and on 14 March 2008 announced that he'd leave the English club for a move to Toshiba Brave Lupus, a Japanese club, with other former Chiefs and Waikato player Steven Bates. Steven Bates
Steven Paul Bates (born 16 January 1980 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer, whose usual position is at Number 8. He played for Waikato at provincial level and the Chiefs in the Super 14. Bates made the traditional All Blacks route to the top with appearances for New Zealand Secondary Schools, New Zealand U-19 and the U-21s, during this time he played Rugby league and was good enough to be selected for the Warriors U-19s. Joe Barakat (born 23 February 1963) is an Australian rugby union Coach. He has just returned home from two years in Japan as a forwards and defense coach for the NTT Communications Shining Arcs in Tokyo, Japan after an extensive national and international career. Education Barakat graduated from Marist College, Kogarah in 1980 and continued his study at Australian Catholic University. The 2011 Rugby World Cup was the seventh Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. The International Rugby Board (IRB) selected New Zealand as the host country in preference to Japan and South Africa at a meeting in Dublin on 17 November 2005. The tournament was won by New Zealand, who defeated France 8–7 in the final. The defending champions, South Africa, were eliminated by Australia 11–9 in the quarter-finals. Top League
Japan Rugby League One (formerly the Top League) is a rugby union competition in Japan. It is the highest level of professional rugby competition in the country. The Japan Rugby Football Union created the competition in 2003, by absorbing the Japan Company Rugby Football Championship, to drive up the overall standard and popularity of the sport and improve the results of the Japan national rugby union team. The chief architect of the league was Hiroaki Shukuzawa who strongly felt the urgency of improving Japanese domestic company rugby to a professional level which would allow Japan to compete more convincingly at Rugby World Cups.
