Richard H. Frank is an American entertainment executive who served chairman of Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications (1994 to 1995) and as president of the Disney Studios (1985 to 1994). Career Richard Frank was president of the Paramount Television Group in 1985. became president of Disney Studios under chair Jeffrey Katzenberg starting 1985. In August 1994 with the departure of Disney Studios chair Jeffrey Katzenberg, its filmed entertainment business, Disney Studios, was split into two, with the newly created Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications under Frank as chair. At the end of his contract on April 30, 1995, Frank left Disney. The Walt Disney Studios is an American film and entertainment studio, and is the Studios Content segment of the Walt Disney Company. Based mainly at the namesake studio lot in Burbank, California, the studio is best known for its multifaceted film divisions. Founded in 1923, it is the fourth-oldest and one of the "Big Five" major film studios. The Walt Disney Studios division has prominent film production companies. These include: Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures. Jeffrey Katzenberg
Jeffrey Katzenberg (; born December 21, 1950) is an American filmmaker, animator, and media proprietor. He became well known for his tenure as chairman of Walt Disney Studios from 1984 to 1994. After departing Disney, he was a co-founder and CEO of DreamWorks Animation, where he oversaw the production of such animated franchises as ''Shrek'', ''Madagascar'', ''Kung Fu Panda'', and ''How to Train Your Dragon''. He has since founded a new media and technology company called WndrCo and was the founder of Quibi, a defunct short-form mobile video platform. Katzenberg has also been involved in politics. TerraCycle is a private U.S.-based recycling business headquartered in Trenton, New Jersey. It primarily runs a volunteer-based recycling platform to collect non-recyclable pre-consumer and post-consumer waste on behalf of corporate donors or municipalities to turn it into raw material to be used in new products.
