Sir Richard Fowler (c.1425-1477) was an English administrator. He was the son of William Fowler of Preston manor in Buckinghamshire. He inherited the manor after his father's death. He held several posts including king's solicitor from 1461 to 1470 (the first to hold this post) and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster from 1462 to 1477, before being appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1469 to 1471 and Under-Treasurer of England in 1471. He was knighted by Edward IV in 1467. Fowler's tenure as Chancellor occurred during the Great Bullion Famine and the Great Slump in England. Sir Richard Fowler, 2nd Baronet (1681–1731), of Harnage Grange, Shropshire was an English politician. Life He was the eldest son of Sir William Fowler, 1st Baronet and his wife Mary Cotton, daughter of Sir Robert Cotton, 1st Baronet, of Combermere. Richard Fowler (28 November 1765 – 13 April 1863), was an English physician. Early life Richard Fowler was born in London, and though he lived to a greater age than any other member of the College of Physicians, Fowler was of feeble health when a child. He was educated at Edinburgh and studied medicine there, and visited Paris as a student. Returning to Edinburgh in 1790 he continued his medical studies, and graduated M.D. on 12 September 1793 with a dissertation 'De Inflammatione.' Career and death He was also a member of the celebrated 'Speculative Society,’ to which he contributed essays. He was admitted licentiate of the College of Physicians of London 21 March 1796, and settled in practice at Salisbury, where he passed the remainder of his life. Rick Fowler is an American blues-rock guitarist originally from Bowdon, Georgia. He learned to play guitar primarily by listening to early British blues and rock guitarists and American blues players. Career Fowler's earlier bands included Ziggurat, Deacon Little, and Fortnox. Fowler also recorded with pop singer Bertie Higgins, whose hit single "Key Largo" reached platinum sales in several countries. In 1982, the Fortnox song "Storm Inside My Head" went to number 44 in US AOR airplay and the band’s video reached the top 20 on MTV. The band toured non-stop for a year in support of the record, headlining medium venues and performing in stadiums as the supporting act for top rock acts. However, their success was short-lived. Richard "Aukcoo" Fowler (1948–2016) was an American wilderness guide, naturalist, and former U.S. Army Ranger based in Iquitos, a city in the Peruvian Amazon.
