Richard Corgan
Richard Corgan is a Welsh actor. He was born and brought up in Cwmtwrch in January 1978. He went to Maesydderwen school, and later to Gorseinon College, Aberystwyth University and The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Corgan's television roles include the recurring character Dafydd "Dav" Llewellyn in BBC One's ''Doctors'' and a leading role in two series of the BBC Wales drama '' Baker Boys''. He has also appeared in the BBC programmes ''Casualty'', ''Caught in the Web'', and ''THe B Word''. From 2018 to 2020, he appeared in the BBC Three series '' In My Skin'' as Tony Chipper. Corgan's films include the infamous low budget horror film ''Colin'', and the short films ''Nowhere Fast'' and ''The Sunday''. ''In My Skin'' is a British comedy drama television series written by Kayleigh Llewellyn that premiered on BBC Three on 14 October 2018. The series was initially ordered as a short film for BBC Wales, but this later acted as the pilot episode after BBC ordered ''In My Skin'' as a full series. Chortle is a British comedy website launched in 2000 by Steve Bennett. The site is a major source of comedy news in the UK. Cwmtwrch () is a village in the valley of the Afon Twrch, a right-bank tributary to the Swansea Valley, Wales, some 15 miles north of Swansea. ''Baker Boys'' is a television drama series produced by BBC Wales and broadcast on BBC One Wales. The series was written by Helen Raynor and Gary Owen. ''Torchwood'' creator Russell T Davies also had a role as creative consultant, which he fulfilled from Los Angeles. The first episode of the series was broadcast on 23 January 2011. The programme follows the workers of Valley Bara bakery which is the economic centre of Trefynydd, a small fictional village in South Wales.
