Ricardo Pérez (Colombian Footballer)
Ricardo "Gato" Pérez Tamayo (born 21 July 1973) is a retired Colombian footballer. He was president of the América de Cali between 2018 and 2019, at which time the team was champion of the 2019 Torneo Finalización Club career Pérez began his professional career with Millonarios, where he would spend most of his playing career. After a wonderful 1993 Copa Mustang (scoring 17 goals in 44 matches), he was bought by "giants" América de Cali for an undisclosed fee. After three years at América, he did not enjoy a lot of confidence from the coach, so he returned on loan to Millonarios. At Millonarios again, he scored 17 goals in 46 matches, being one of the tournament's best players in 1997. Prince Faisal bin Fahd League U-21, formerly Saudi Federation Cup/Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup U-21/Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup and currently known as Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Cup, is an association football league of Saudi Arabia. It was founded in the 1975–1976 season where Al-Nasr was the first champion. It was initially for senior teams, though rules were later changed to only allow players under 23 years. However, after a few years, and a lack of spectator interest, the competition was opened up again to players of all ages. Al-Rayyan Sports Club
Al-Rayyan Sports Club () is a Qatari multi-sports club fielding teams in a number of sports such as football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis, and swimming. It is based at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Umm Al Afaei in the city of Al Rayyan. The club was founded in 1967 after merging the old Rayyan team with ''Nusoor Club''. The official team colours are red and black. They have won numerous titles in all sports, including two Asian championships in basketball, the Arab championship in handball, futsal domestic titles, table tennis, and volleyball, as well as numerous GCC basketball, handball, and volleyball championships. Emir of Qatar Cup ( ar, كأس أمير قطر), also known as the Emir Cup, but changed to Amir Cup starting in 2019, is an association football tournament played every season by 18 first and second division teams. The most successful is Al Sadd who won the tournament 18 times. Emir of Qatar Cup was played for the first time in 1972, and was won by Al Ahli. History Al Ahli SC won the first ever Emir of Qatar Cup, defeating Al-Rayyan SC 6-1 under the leadership of Sudanese coach Mohammed Kheiri. Till this day, it is the joint-largest scoreline ever recorded in an Emir Cup final. It was refereed by Ali al-Absi, while Abdullah Siddiqi scored the first ever goal in an Emir Cup final. Qatar Sheikh Jassem Cup
The Sheikh Jassim Cup ( ar, كأس الشيخ جاسم) is an annual men's super cup competition in Qatari football held between the winner of the Qatar Stars League and the Emir of Qatar Cup. History The inaugural Sheikh Jassim Cup was held in 1977. Prior to the 2014 Sheikh Jassim Cup, all 18 Qatari football clubs competed in the cup. Under this format, the teams were divided into four groups with the winners from each group qualifying for the semi-finals. The cup serves the opening event to the Qatar's football season. Qatar Stars League
The Qatar Stars League ( ar, دوري نجوم قطر), or the QSL, also called QNB Stars League for sponsorship reasons, is the top level football league in Qatar football league system. Contested by 12 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Qatari Second Division (QSD). Seasons of the QSL usually run from September to April. The league's first season was played in 1963, although the first official season occurred in 1972. The league currently features 12 clubs, with one club being demoted to make room for one club being promoted.
