Ricardo Abel Barbosa Ferreira (born 3 December 1989), known simply as Ricardo, is a Portuguese professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Club career Ricardo was born in Braga. A product of hometown S.C. Braga's youth system, he was promoted to the first team for the 2007–08 Primeira Liga, 2007–08 season as fourth goalkeeper. In the following two years, Ricardo played for S.C. Olhanense in Algarve, 2008–09 Liga de Honra, the first on loan, appearing in only two matches. In the 2009–10 Primeira Liga, 2009–10 campaign, with the club in the Primeira Liga for the first time in 34 years, he started in the last matchday as the side were already safe from relegation, featuring in the 2–2 away draw against F.C. Braga ( , ; cel-x-proto, Bracara) is a city and a municipality, capital of the northwestern Portuguese district of Braga and of the historical and cultural Minho Province. ''Record'' is a Portuguese sports newspaper, founded in 1949 by Manuel Dias, published in Lisbon. Lusofonia Games
The Lusofonia Games ( pt, Jogos da Lusofonia) is a multinational multi-sport event organized by the ACOLOP, which involves athletes coming from Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) countries. Most countries competing are countries that are members of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries), but some are countries with significant Portuguese communities or have a history with Portugal. The 2009 Lusophony Games was the 2nd Lusophony Games ( pt, 2.os Jogos da Lusofonia), a multi-sport event for delegations representing Portuguese-speaking National Olympic committees. It took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 11 to 19 July 2009. The Pavilhão Atlântico acted as the main venue, staging the opening ceremonies and the majority of the sporting events. The India national under-20 football team, also known as India Under-20s or India U20(s), represents India at all under-20 football tournaments. They act as the main feeder team for the India national under-23 football team and the senior India national football team. This team is for Indian players aged under 19 at the start of the calendar year in which a two-year AFC U-19 Championship campaign begins, and as such, some players can remain with the squad until the age of 21. As long as they are eligible, players can play for India at any level, making it possible to play for the U19s first, then the senior side, and again back to playing for the U19s. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
