Population History The name of the commune is a corruption of ''Erembauldocurtis'' (which comes from "Eremboldus" = (skilful or bold leader) and "curtis", meaning a fortified house). Richarius (; – April 26, 645) was a Frankish hermit, monk, and the founder of two monasteries. He is venerated as a saint in the Roman Catholic Church, and Eastern Orthodox Church. The V-1 flying bomb (german: Vergeltungswaffe 1 "Vengeance Weapon 1") was an early cruise missile. Its official Ministry of Aviation (Nazi Germany), Reich Aviation Ministry () designation was Fi 103.
