Rianne ten Haken (born 27 November 1986) is a Dutch model. She was born to a Dutch Father and a Belgian mother in Lelystad, Flevoland, and began modeling after she won the 2001 Elite Model Look competition at the age of 15. In 2003, Rianne walked her first runways. In New York, she debuted at the Marc Jacobs, show and was subsequently picked up by clients. In December 2003 she landed her first major cover for Italian Vogue, photographed by Steven Meisel. That same month she also appeared on the cover of Numero photographed by Mert & Marcus. Lelystad
Lelystad () is a municipality and a city in the centre of the Netherlands, and it is the capital of the province of Flevoland. The city, built on reclaimed land, was founded in 1967 and was named after Cornelis Lely, who engineered the Afsluitdijk, making the reclamation possible. Lelystad is approximately below sea level. Steven Meisel (born June 5, 1954) is an American fashion photographer, who obtained popularity and critical acclaim with his work in ''Vogue'' and ''Vogue Italia'' as well as his photographs of friend Madonna in her 1992 book, ''Sex''. Patrick Demarchelier (; 21 August 1943 – 31 March 2022) was a French fashion photographer. Early life and education Born near Paris in 1943 to a modest family, Demarchelier spent his childhood in Le Havre, Normandy, with his mother and four brothers. For his seventeenth birthday, his stepfather bought him his first Eastman Kodak camera. Demarchelier learned how to develop film, retouch negatives and began photographing friends and weddings. Career In 1975, Demarchelier left Paris for New York City, United States to follow his girlfriend. Elite Model Look (formerly known as Look of the Year from 1983 to 1995) is a yearly fashion modeling event held by Elite Model Management, an international model management group. It is used to discover and launch female fashion models in the international fashion marketplace, like the similar Ford Models' Ford Models Supermodel of the World, Supermodel of the World contest.
