Rho Fiera railway station is a railway station in Italy. Located on the Turin–Milan railway, it serves the Fieramilano area in Rho. The station is located on Achille Grandi street. Rho (; ; ) is a town and ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about northwest of Milan. The language spoken in Rho is Italian. Geography Rho is lapped by the river Olona and crossed by its tributaries Bozzente and Lura, nowadays partially cloaked inside the town. Achille Grandi
Achille Grandi (24 August 1883 – 28 September 1946) was an Italian politician and catholic syndicalist. Grandi was born in Como, Italy. In 1918 he entered the secretariat of the Confederazione Italiana dei Lavoratori CIL being one of its founding members, with Ulisse Carbone. He was elected CIL general secretary from 1922 to 1926 and brought the CIL up to 2 million members. In 1919 he was among the founding members of Partito Popolare Italiano becoming member of the parliament the same year. During fascism he didn't collaborate and survived working in a printing house. On 3 June 1944 he was one of the promoters and signatories of the Pact of Rome, which originated the ''unified CGIL'' and was the germ of all post-war Italian trade-unionism.From the CGIL split in 1950 the CISL and the UIL. Porto Ceresio–Milan railway is a railway line in Lombardy, Italy. It uses the tracks of the Milan–Arona railway until Gallarate. History The line was opened from Gallarate to Varese on 26 September 1865; in 1885 it went to the state network Rete Mediterranea, operated by the Società per le Strade Ferrate del Mediterraneo. Domodossola railway station ( it, Stazione di Domodossola) serves the city and ''comune'' of Domodossola, in the Piedmont region, northwestern Italy. Opened in 1888, it forms a major break of gauge junction between standard gauge lines to Milan, Brig and Novara, and a metre gauge line to Locarno. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni.
