Rhiann Macleod
Rhiann Macleod (born 22 April 1990) is a Scottish curler from Aberdeen and originally from Blair Atholl. She is a former World Junior champion. Career As a junior curler, Macleod played lead for Eve Muirhead's rink at the 2011 World Junior Curling Championships. The team won a gold medal at the event, defeating Canada's Trish Paulsen in the final for the championship. That same year, the team re-organized and represented Scotland at the 2011 Capital One World Women's Curling Championship. Anna Sloan would skip the team, with Muirhead sitting out as the team's alternate and Macleod remained at lead. At the Worlds, the team finished with a 4-7 record in 9th place. Macleod would herself miss three games. Following the 2010-11 season, Macleod joined the Kerry Barr rink, and has remained with the team ever since. Eve Muirhead
Eve Muirhead (born 22 April 1990) is a Scottish former curler from Perth and the skip of the British Olympic Curling team. Muirhead and the GB team became Olympic champions at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, having previously won the bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. As skip of the Scotland team, Muirhead won the 2011 European Championships in Moscow, the 2013 World Championships in Riga, the 2017 European Championships in St. Gallen and the 2021 European Championships in Lillehammer. She is also a four-time World Junior Champion (2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). Scottish Women's Curling Championship
The Scottish Women's Curling Championship is the national women's curling championship for Scotland. The championship usually decides which team of curlers is sent to the World Women's Curling Championship, but in Olympic years, the winner must play the British Olympic representative to play to determine the Scottish team at the Worlds. Beginning in 2021, Scotland's World Championship teams will be selected by Scottish Curling instead. Anna Sloan
Anna Sloan (born 5 February 1991) is a Scottish curler. She was the longtime third for the Eve Muirhead rink. Representing Scotland, they won the 2011 European Championships, the 2013 World Championships, and the 2017 European Championships. Representing Great Britain, they won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2014 Sochi Games and finished fourth at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games. Career Sloan played third for Eve Muirhead's junior rink, winning the 2009 World Junior Curling Championships for Scotland. In 2010, she won a silver medal at the European Championships as alternate to the Muirhead rink.
