Rezwanul Haque
Rezwanul Haque Idu Chowdhury (1930 – 25 May 1994) was a politician from the Thakurgaon District of Bangladesh and a former Member of Parliament of Dinajpur-3 and Thakurgaon-1. Career Haque was elected to parliament from Dinajpur-3 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1979. He joined the Jatiya Party in 1986 and elected to parliament from Thakurgaon-1 as a Jatiya Party candidate in 1986 and 1988. He was the former Minister of Social Welfare. Haji Mohammad Danesh
Hajee Mohammad Danesh (1900 – 28 June 1986) was a Bangladeshi politician and communist activist born in the British India. Early life Hajee Mohammad Danesh was born to a Bengali Muslim peasant family in the village of Sultanpur in the Dinajpur district of what was then the Bengal Presidency of British India, and now a part of Bangladesh. Danesh studied at the Aligarh Muslim University, where he obtained a master's degree in history in 1931. He also earned a degree in law in 1932 and joined the bar of the Dinajpur district court. Communist activism In the 1930s, Danesh became active in the communist organisations of Bengal, especially the Bengal provincial organisation of the Communist Party of India. Thakurgaon ( bn, ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা, ''Thakurgaon Jela'' also ''Thakurgaon Zila'') is a district in the north-western side of Bangladesh. It is a part of the Rangpur Division and borders India to the west. It was established as a mahakuma in 1860 consisting of 6 thanas named Thakurgaon sadar, Baliadangi, Pirganj, Ranishankail, Haripur and Ruhia. In 1947, it was re-established as a mahakuma including 3 thanas of Jalpaiguri and a thana of kochbihar of India.
