Rey De Reyes (2006)
The Rey de Reyes 2006 (Spanish for "King of Kings") was the tenth annual Rey de Reyes professional wrestling tournament and show, produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The event took place on March 11, 2005 in the Convention Center in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The main focus of the 2006 Rey de Reyes show was the tenth annual Rey de Reyes tournament which was contested as a multiman elimination match that saw four teams of three compete against each other until one man remained in the end. The teams were: Team AAA (La Parka, Octagón and Vampiro), La Secta Cibernetica (Chessman, Cibernético and Muerte Cibernetica), Team TNA (Konnan, Ron Killings and Samoa Joe) and Los Guapos (Scorpio Jr., Shocker and Zumbido). Samoa Joe
Nuufolau Joel Seanoa (born March 17, 1979), is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name Samoa Joe who is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Joe is currently a double champion - in his first reign both as AEW TNT Champion, and as ROH World Television Champion in AEW's sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where he was inducted as part of the inaugural class in the ROH Hall of Fame. Ian Richard Hodgkinson (born May 31, 1967), better known by his ring name Vampiro, is a Canadian semi-retired professional wrestler who most recently served as director of talent for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He also worked for Lucha Underground as a color commentator. Hodgkinson is also member of the citizen crime patrol organization Guardian Angels, acting as head of the group's chapter in Mexico City. Erick Aguilar Muñoz (born February 24, 1987) is a Mexican '' luchador'' (professional wrestler) better known by the ring name Super Fly. He worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) since 2005 until 2021. Laredo Kid
Laredo Kid (born December 30, 1986) is a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. He is currently signed to both Impact Wrestling and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, but is currently inactive due to abdominal surgery. Laredo Kid's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where private lives are kept a secret from wrestling fans. Real Fuerza Aérea (Spanish for "Royal Air Force") was a Mexican professional wrestling group, or stable, active in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Asistencia, Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and consists of young ''tecnicos'' (Face or "good guys") who all use a high flying, high risk wrestling style. José Angel García Paz (born November 4, 1974) is a Mexican '' Luchador'', or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Zumbido (Spanish for "Buzz"). He has worked for both Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and AAA throughout his career, but currently works on the Mexican independent circuit. José Luis Jair Soria (born September 12, 1971) is a Mexican ''luchador'' or professional wrestler, who works under the ring name Shocker. He currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico and has previously worked for AAA in Mexico, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, in the United States and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in Japan. Ronnie Aaron Killings (born January 19, 1972) is an American professional wrestler and rapper. He is currently signed to WWE, performing on the Raw brand under the ring name R-Truth. Killings worked for World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) as K-Kwik from 1998 to 2002, forming a team with "Road Dogg" Jesse James, and winning the WWF Hardcore Championship twice.
