Rex Leech
Rex Leech is a fictional character in the DC Comics Universe. He first appeared in ''Adventures of Superman (comic book), Adventures of Superman'' #502 in July 1993 and for a time was a regular supporting character in the Superboy line of comics. Fictional character biography Rex was first introduced after the 'The Death of Superman, Death of Superman'. During the actual funeral procession, Rex, backed up by two gun toting men, try to buy the rights to Jimmy Olsen, Jimmy Olsen's picture of Superman dead. Olsen punches Leech in the face. The promoter then has his goons threaten to shoot Jimmy in the knees. Robin (comics), Robin stops the incident. He was used by Vincent Edge of WGBS to recruit a supervillain for the new Superboy (Kon-El), Superboy to fight (Vinnie was wanting higher rating on his television station). Superboy (Kon-El)
Superboy (also known as Kon-El or Conner Kent) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. A modern variation on the original Superboy, the character first appeared as Superboy in '' The Adventures of Superman'' #500 (June 1993), and was created by writer Karl Kesel and artist Tom Grummett. From the character's debut in 1993 to August 2003, Superboy was depicted as a genetically-engineered metahuman clone of human origin designed by Project Cadmus as a duplicate and closest genetic equivalent of Superman. The character was retconned in ''Teen Titans'' (vol. 3) #1 (September 2003) as a human/ Kryptonian binary clone made from the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor. Dubbilex
Project Cadmus is a fictional genetic engineering project in the DC Comics Universe. Its notable creations included the Golden Guardian (a clone of the original Guardian), Auron, Superboy (Kon-El) (a clone from Superman's DNA), and Dubbilex (a DNA-alien telepath who resembles a tall grey alien with horns). Its 31st-century descendants run the Justice League 3000 clone project. Publication history Project Cadmus was created by Jack Kirby as the DNA Project in ''Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen'' #133 (October 1970), and was run by the former Newsboy Legion. Fictional organization history Project Cadmus was founded by Dabney Donovan, Reginald Augustine, and Thomas Thompkins. The Cadmus facilities were originally constructed in a large, abandoned aqueduct outside of Metropolis. Exploration soon uncovered a vast array of caverns close to the facilities. Krypto
Krypto, also known as Krypto the Superdog, is a fictional superhero dog appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the character Superman. In most continuities, Krypto is Superman's pet dog, usually depicted as a white dog of a generic pedigree. Krypto is sometimes depicted as resembling a Labrador Retriever, a plain white Dalmatian, a White Shepherd, or even a primitive dog such as a spitz-type dog such as a husky or a laika, a dingo (in Australian versions), a pye-dog (in Indian versions), or a tugou (in Chinese versions), but his specific breed is almost never specified.
