Revolver (The Haunted Album)
''Revolver'' (stylized as rEVOLVEr) is the fourth studio album by Swedish metal band The Haunted.CMJ New Music Report – 2004 10 11 p49 "Singer Peter Dolving moved out of the Haunted's house in the late '90s, but came back home in 2003 — and new album rEVOLVEr marks his much-anticipated ..." It was released on 18 October 2004. After having been absent for the previous two studio albums, Peter Dolving was once again back in the band and provided the vocals for ''rEVOLVEr''. He would remain with the band until he left once again in 2012. As the title on the album indicates with its stylized typography (i.e. with the word "EVOLVE" printed in upper case letters between the two lower case r's), the band made a conscious decision to tweak (or "evolve") its songwriting on this album. As a result, rEVOLVEr contains some elements that were absent on previous The Haunted albums. Sick Of It All
Sick of It All is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1986 in Queens, New York City. The band's lineup consists of brothers Lou and Pete Koller on lead vocals and guitars respectively, Armand Majidi on drums, and Craig Setari on bass. Sick of It All is considered a major part of the New York hardcore scene, and by 2020, the band had sold at least half a million records worldwide. Though their 1989 debut album ''Blood, Sweat and No Tears'' was a moderate success, Sick of It All did not achieve commercial success until later albums. Anders Björler (born 26 February 1973) is a Swedish musician, composer and film director. He is best known as the guitar player in the metal bands The Haunted and At the Gates, alongside his bass-playing twin brother Jonas Björler. Mark Andrew "Barney" Greenway (born 13 July 1969) is a British extreme metal vocalist who is the current lead singer of Napalm Death and a former member of Extreme Noise Terror and Benediction. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing.
