''Revenger'' is a 2016 science fiction novel by British author Alastair Reynolds. It is unconnected to any of Reynolds's previous works, and is the first book in the ''Revenger Trilogy''. A sequel, entitled '' Shadow Captain'' was published on 10 January 2019, and a third and final book in the trilogy, ''Bone Silence'', was published in 2020. ''Revenger'' won the 2017 Locus Award for Best Young Adult Book, and was a finalist for the 2018 Philip K. Dick Award. ''The Revengers'', published in 1982, is a novel in the long-running secret agent series Matt Helm by Donald Hamilton. It was the first Helm book published since 1977 and the nineteenth book published overall since 1960. This book was seen as a reintroduction of the character after a five-year hiatus, including multiple references to past missions and with a younger-looking depiction of the character on the book cover (his origins as a Second World War assassin being played down). Beginning with this novel the page count of Hamilton's novels was also noticeably greater and this remained in place for the remainder of the series. ''Revenger'' is a 2018 South Korean action thriller film directed by Lee Seung-won from a story written by Bruce Khan and Ahn Seung-hwan and produced by Yang Jong-gon. The film stars Bruce Khan and Park Hee-soon in the lead roles, while Yoon Jin-seo and Kim In-kwon appear in supporting roles. ''Revenger'' was released on December 6, 2018. Plot Kim Yool is a detective who attempts to kill mob boss Carlos Kun in order to avenge his family's death, but Yool gets arrested and transferred to an island called Sura island, which is a prison for deadly and blood-hungry criminals. Set in Japan, the series follows a samurai named Raizo Kurima who crossses paths with hitmen known as Revengers after being betrayed by his superiors. It aired from January to March 2023. Premise Raizo Kurima is a hitman working for the organization Revengers, which takes revenge on behalf those who have no power. The group works at the "Ribenjiya" store that acts as a general store on the outside, while hiding the Revengers organization beneath the surface.
