Iurie Darie
Iurie Darie (; 14 March 1929 – 9 November 2012) was a Romanian actor. Biography He was born in Vadul-Rașcov, Soroca County, Kingdom of Romania. He studied at the Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest, graduating in 1952. He made his film debut in 1953, playing Miron in '' The Bugler's Grandsons''. In 2002, Darie received the National Order of Faithful Service with the rank of Knight for his prestigious artistic career. During his last years Darie suffered from several health problems, including respiratory and cardiac insufficiency and also a stroke. He died on 9 November 2012, aged 83, in Bucharest, surrounded by his family. He was buried in the city's Sfânta Vineri Cemetery. Sergiu Florin Nicolaescu (; 13 April 1930 – 3 January 2013) was a Romanian film director, actor and politician. Gheorghe Dinică (; 1 January 1934 – 10 November 2009) was a Romanian actor. Career Dinică showed an early interest in acting, being part of different amateur theater troupes since he was 17. In 1957, he entered The National Institute of Theatre and Cinematography Art in Bucharest. Amza Pellea
Amza Pellea (; 7 April 1931 – 12 December 1983) was a Romanian actor noted for playing Romanian national heroes on film. He was born in Băilești, Oltenia, and attended the Carol I High School in Craiova. He later played at the Craiova Theatre, then at the Small Theatre, the Nottara Theatre, the Comedy Theatre, and the National Theatre in Bucharest, and also was a professor at the Academy of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Pellea played numerous comic and serious roles. In cinema he was most noted for his roles portraying historical leaders. Ion Besoiu
Ion Besoiu (; 11 March 1931 – 18 January 2017) was a Romanian actor. Biography He was born in Sibiu in 1931 and graduated the city's Theater and Music Academy. After making his debut in 1957, he played for 16 years at the Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu. He then moved to Bucharest, where he played at the Bulandra Theatre. He later served for 12 years as director of this well-known theatre. Besoiu appeared in some of the most important Romanian films from the Communist period: "Furtuna", "Neamul Șoimăreștilor", "Haiducii", "Răscoala", " Mihai Viteazul", "Ciprian Porumbescu", "Păcală", "Blestemul pământului, blestemul iubirii", "Ultima noapte de dragoste", "Lumini și umbre", "Ce neagră e mama", and "Toate pânzele sus!". Mircea Albulescu
Iorgu Constantin Albulescu (4 October 1934 – 8 April 2016), known professionally as Mircea Albulescu (), was a Romanian actor, university professor, journalist, poet, writer, and member of the Writers' Union of Romania (''Uniunea Scriitorilor''). He was born as Iorgu Constantin V. Albulescu, in Bucharest, on 4 October 1934. He graduated from the Secondary School of Architecture in 1952, and in 1956 he graduated from the Institute of Theatrical and Cinematographic Art in Bucharest. Silviu Stănculescu (; 24 January 1932 – 23 October 1998) was a Romanian actor. He appeared in more than forty films from 1960 to 1998. Born in Timișoara, he graduated in 1956 from the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts (IATC) in Bucharest. He married Corina Stănescu, with whom he had a daughter, Catrinel Stănescu Florea. Stănculescu died of leukemia at Victor Babeș Hospital in Bucharest, at age 66.
