Return Of Wolverine
''Return of Wolverine'' is a 2018 comic book miniseries published by Marvel Comics. This miniseries is a continuation on the events that transpired in the " Death of Wolverine" and " Hunt for Wolverine" storylines, and explains how Wolverine returned from the dead. Premise As a follow-up to the "Hunt for Wolverine" storyline, Marvel released this five-part mini-series to precede a new "Wolverine" comic series. Plot The story begins with Wolverine in agony, kneeling in a pool of blood as his claws glow red hot. He is surrounded by dead soldiers as well as a living caged ''Smilodon'' in the background. He gives water to Bernard Delacroix, a wounded scientist for Soteira brought into their service to work on their de-extinction project. He is shocked to see Wolverine alive and begs to be released from the will of Soteira by having Wolverine kill him with his claws. Steven McNiven is a Canadians, Canadian comic book artist. He first gained prominence on CrossGen's ''Meridian (comics), Meridian'', before moving onto books such as ''Ultimate Secret'', ''Marvel Knights 4'', The New Avengers (comics), ''New Avengers'', and ''Civil War (comics), Civil War'', illustrating storylines such as "Old Man Logan." Early life Steven McNiven is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Career McNiven first came into prominence after he took over as a penciller of CrossGen's ''Meridian (comics), Meridian'' title following the departure of Josh Middleton. X-Force is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men. Conceived by writer/illustrator Rob Liefeld, the team first appeared in ''New Mutants'' #100 (April 1991) and soon afterwards was featured in its own series called '' X-Force''. The group was originally a revamped version of the 1980s team the New Mutants. X-Force's first leader was the mutant Cable. Nightcrawler is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men.
