Return Of Bruce Wayne
''Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne'' is a 6-issue American comic book limited series published by DC Comics beginning in May to November 2010, written by Grant Morrison and featuring a team of rotating artists starting with Chris Sprouse and Frazer Irving. The series picks up from ''Final Crisis'' #6. The series detailed the journey Bruce Wayne takes through the timestream of the DC Universe after being deposited in the distant past by Darkseid in ''Final Crisis''. Wayne has to overcome amnesia and "history itself" in order to make his way back to present-day Gotham City and retake his rightful place as Batman. The series ran for six issues, each covering a different time period. The time periods are prehistory, the witch hunts, pirates at sea, the Wild West, 20th-century Gotham City just a few months after Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered, and the present day, and usually depict the Batcave or Wayne Manor. Andy Kubert
Andrew Kubert (; born February 27, 1962) is an American comics artist, letterer and writer. He is the son of Joe Kubert and brother of Adam Kubert, both of whom are also artists, and the uncle of comics editor Katie Kubert. He is a graduate of and an instructor of second-year classes at The Kubert School, founded by his father who also taught there. Early life Andrew Kubert is the son of Muriel (''née'' Fogelson) and Joe Kubert, the latter of whom came from a Jewish family in southeast Poland (now Ukraine). His siblings include a sister, Lisa, and brothers David, Daniel, and Adam Kubert, Adam. He and his siblings were raised in Dover, New Jersey. He is also the uncle of comics editor Katie Kubert. He graduated from The Kubert School, which was founded by his father in Dover. Career Andy Kubert started his comics career as a letterer at DC Comics in 1980. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. Batcave
The Batcave is a subterranean location appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It is the headquarters of the superhero Batman, whose secret identity is Bruce Wayne and his partners, consisting of caves beneath his personal residence, Wayne Manor. Publication history Originally, there was only a secret tunnel that ran underground between Wayne Manor and a dusty old barn where the Batmobile was kept. Later, in ''Batman'' #12 (August–September 1942), Bill Finger mentioned "secret underground hangars". In 1943, the writers of the first Batman film serial, titled ''Batman'', gave Batman a complete underground crime lab and introduced it in the second chapter entitled "The Bat's Cave". Martha Wayne
Martha Wayne ( Kane) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Batman. She is the mother of Bruce Wayne (Batman), and wife of Thomas Wayne, Dr. Thomas Wayne as well as the paternal grandmother of Damian Wayne, the fifth Robin (character), Robin.
