Return Of The Lucky Stars
''Return of the Lucky Stars'' (Alternative: "Lucky Stars Triad Society") is a 1989 Hong Kong action comedy film directed by Stanley Fung. It is the fifth film out of the ''Lucky Stars'' series. Plot Hong Kong Police Supt. Walter Tso arrests Big Dai, the reformed leader of a criminal corporation. When Dai asked his brother Richard Mao to turn himself into the police, he betrays him and decides to take over the corporation. Dai is imprisoned and an informant is murdered by one of Mao's men. With no evidence against Mao and the corporation, Tso coerced four of the "Five Lucky Stars" to go undercover in the prison, rescue Dai, and help nab Mao and bring down the corporation. Stanley Fung
Stanley Fung Shui-fan (born June 1, 1945) is a Hong Kong actor and film director known for playing comedic roles. He was one of the Lucky Stars. Career In 1967, Fung became an actor in Hong Kong films. Fung first appeared in To Rose with Love, a 1967 Action film directed by Chor Yuen. In 1974, Fung became a director and writer. Fung's directorial debut was with ''The Looks of Hong Kong'', a 1974 Mandarin Drama film. Fung is credited with over 135 films as an actor, 10 films as a director, 4 films as a writer and 3 films as a producer. Kent Cheng Jak-si (born 22 May 1951) is a Hong Kong film and television actor. He is a two time recipient of the best actor award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Benz Hui Shiu-hung (born 4 November 1948) is a Hong Kong film and TV actor. Hui is credited with over 165 films. Hui is a currently a TV actor with TVB. Fung Ging-man (), (22 January 1912 – 9 November 1997) sometimes credited as Ging-man Fung and Fung King-Man, was a Cantonese Hong Kong actor, script supervisor, production manager and director. He acted in over 300 films, and he also played as himself in '' Bruce Lee, the Man and the Legend'', which starred Bruce Lee.
