Jeffrey Jermaine Thompkins (born September 14, 1972), known by his stage name JT Money, is an American rapper and the leader of Miami-based hip hop group Poison Clan. Thompkins began his career in the late 1980s as a protégé of Luther "Luke" Campbell signing to Luke Records in 1990. His debut solo album ''Pimpin' on Wax'' was released in 1999 and spawned the successful single " Who Dat", which peaked at number 5 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Music career Thompkins was discovered by Luke Skyywalker of the 2 Live Crew in a Miami talent show. Skyywalker signed JT Money and Debonaire as the group Poison Clan to his Luke Records. The Dogs were a 1990s hip hop group consisting of Disco Rick, Keith Bell, Labrant Dennis, and Fergus "Cracked Up" Smith, best known for "Crack Rock," their hit single with the chant "Yo' Mama's on Crack Rock!" The group released three studio albums '' The Dogs'' in 1990, ''Beware of The Dogs'' in 1991 and ''K-9 Bass'' in 1992. The group officially disbanded in 1996 when Labrant Dennis was arrested for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Timwanika Lumpkins, and her lover Marlin Barnes, a linebacker for the University of Miami football team. Dennis was convicted of the double-murders in 1998, and sentenced to death in 1999. Dennis remains on death row. Daniel Robert Elfman (born May 29, 1953) is an American film composer, singer and songwriter. He came to prominence as the singer-songwriter for the new wave band Oingo Boingo in the early 1980s.
